In collaboration with Bodhi Surf School’s Ocean Guardian program, Coast 2 Coast facilitated a 2.5 month long upcycling project with the local elementary school in Bahia Ballena and an international group of high school volunteers. Participants upcylced old bins once full of oil into trash cans by cleaning out the inside and then painting marine lifescapes on the outside. These trash bins were then strategically placed around the community based on GEOPORTers assessments with community leaders.
